Oak porch questions
Does an oak porch need planning permission?
Small porches often fall within permitted development, subject to size and distance from the highway. We advise at the site visit and handle an application if one is needed.
How will the oak change over time?
Green oak seasons naturally in place, developing small checks and softening to a silver grey unless it is oiled. That patina is part of the charm.
Do you do the whole job?
Yes. When required we build and assemble the whole structure including groundworks, brickwork and roof tiling.
